The sister blog, Bible in Time , is intended to be a devotional and prayer area. This blog will take the reader through the Bible in a year with additional study notes that I will provide. The study this year will be using Biblegateway.com listings and readings to accomplish the goal of reading the Bible in a year. It is intended as a starting point and not an exhaustive study or commentary of sections of the Bible. The slant of this study is from my point of view and does not reflect any particular branch of Christianity. My background is Christian Lutheran (ELCA) and have had the blessing of being theologically trained (late 1970s & 80s). I worship and pray the Daily Office (Episcopal).
